Doug Decker started doing CrossFit in 2007. He has been a CrossFit L1 and L2 Certificate Holder since 2010 and was an affiliate owner (Vertical CrossFit) from 2013 to 2016. He has a history as a Track and Field Athlete and a diehard volleyball competitor as well as a CrossFit Competitor. He resigned from Track and Field and over the last 20 years has been involved with the sport of volleyball in some form or fashion, currently competing on a regular basis in sand volleyball tournaments and is one of the top competitors in the region, in his 40’s. He has also led teams to First place finishes in CrossFit Competitions in multiple states. Doug contributes his continued success in athletics and life, to not only the methodology of CrossFit, but more so to his constant pursuit of knowledge and excellence. He has taken everything he has learned through CrossFit and beyond to create a profound program for athletes increasing strength, speed and stamina, i.e. POWER output– all needed to be an elite competitor in Competition.
EVEN MORE SO, he firmly believes that for ANYONE wanting to Move Better, Train Better and Become Better, a solid routine of core foundational work and sound functional movements, constantly varied, is the most efficient and effective way to achieve their goals.

Heather grew up in Texas and transplanted to Oklahoma in 2009. She was in the Marine Corps for over 9 years and found functional fitness in 2010. She battled addictions and severe depression through fitness and the community found in CrossFit. She has a passion for helping others and uses fitness as a tool to do that. Heather has been a coach since 2013 and has participated in a number of local level competitions for fun. She has an awesome husband, Wes, and two cats and a dog.

He played football and competed in powerlifting in high school. After high
school assisted in coaching the varsity football team for two years at
Metro High School.
Started Crossfit in Oct of 2013 as a way to get in shape and lose weight.
It was then that I discover my passion for weightlifting. In Aug of 2014
got my USAW Level 1 certification.
Then got my Crossfit Level 1 certification a few months later. With a
growing passion for weightlifting I continued my education by completing my
USAW Level 2 certification and also had the honor to have trained with Ursula
Garza (USAW Weightlifting President) for a week while attending her class
“The Art of Coaching Weightlifting”.
I am passionate about coaching functional fitness and explosive movement
like Olympic lifting because the movements directly translate into our
The basic way I can describe functional fitness is picking up heavy objects
and getting out of breath. It’s that simple.
I started my journey at around 300lbs and have lost over 70lbs by changing my
lifestyle through nutrition and consistently pushing myself in the daily
workouts. I have worked out my whole life but never really enjoyed “exercise”
until joining a community of like-minded individuals. Now I seek to help each person
I come into contact with, realize the amazing benefits of fitness and how much fun it can be.
